in retrospect.....too....much....wine

End of the story.....we fall asleep at 10:30pm

Whole story......
Just returned from the 4th annual girl's wine weekend
A group of SHU girlfriends have been traveling across the northeast each year in an attempt to find and conquer every bottle of wine that crosses our path
This year we traveled to New York to Nam's hood for our weekend
We went to two wineries
First was Brotherhood Winery where we attempted to buy 3 flights each, and were scared off by the evil starring eyes of the cashier after telling us that we could only choose 1. So we had 2 flights there (haha evil lady)....wine was alright
We then went to Palaia Winery which at first look was questionable with the lack of anyone else there and the abundance of Simpson's signs . It actually ended up being really cute and had great wine!
We had a free tasting flight and then bought a bottle of wine to enjoy on the porch before heading to dinner
We then went to dinner and had 1 bottle of wine while waiting for our table
Then sat down for a great meal and finished it off with 2 more bottles of wine
Apparently we forgot that we aren't 21 anymore
The night ended prematurely at 10:30 as soon as we got back to Nam's house
Jennie fell asleep as soon as her butt hit the couch....well lets be honest Jennie fell asleep in the car
Sarah instructed me (in her ever so soothing drunk-sarah-speak) that we were going to sleep now and to help her pull out the futon
The night was followed by many walks/stumbles to the frig for more water and awaking the next morning looking like zombies

In retrospect....too....much....wine

But I do love my girls and can't wait for next year!
p.s. we missed you Colleen!
